I be the newbie
« on: September 13, 2005, 06:50:14 PM »

Hello all! As I have been informed, most people come here to get there problems solved. Hmmm? Well with me being a geek I believe that "Geeks" should help others. So here I am appologizing for doing what everyone else does. I signed up for the forum and posted a question first thing. Well I know that this is wrong, but urgent questions (my impatience being thin doesn't help either) need to be answered. I will post in a technology forum thus far. Sorry once again.

Yeah you guys are real helpful people. Let me help you with something... Just because you CAN'T help then don't ruin an opportunity for an intelligent person to come along and answer a question.

Actually, I'm sure someone would be able to help you reverse engineer some open-source software.

We just like it when people stick around and don't use us as their personal help desk. Tech assistance is not the point of the forum; I don't know who informed you that this is where you should come to get your problems solved, but they were sadly mistaken.

Well I am here to stay, but I have one problem. I am not sure what this place is all about. Is there a homepage? Could I get the address? Aslo I love that Fark.com place that I read about in one of the posts.

Wow, it's pretty good. I was actually surprised that it wasn't fully about Java, html, programming, and a bunh of other things in computer nature. I really like the funny movies, they're hilarious. Thanx for the new space to frequent.
