Yeah, so I found a new roommate...or I thought I did anyway.  I was supposed to meet him tomorrow for a drink.  So of course, I googled his name to see if there are any scandals surrounding the guy.

I don't remember anything about it.  But a special grand jury for a conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor sounds about right for the political system around here.   :lol:

I think I'd steer clear though.  After all he is/was a republican.  :wink:

I'm steering clear alright, but not because of that.  (My person is a republican!)

I feel like a jerk for some reason though.  I mean, I was honest.  I've had bad experiences with people in my house being brought up on charges.  I'm going to just avoid the whole thing.

I should have told him it was because of his political beliefs.   :lol:

Oh yeah, it's resolved.  He was pardoned by the Governor.  He's got a new job that's relocating him to Richmond from DC, I think.  Fresh start I suppose.  Just not in my house.

I dont blame you, I mean yes, everyone deserves a second chance, but I too had a bad experiance with the whole second chance thing, and i guess some peeps really like their original way of living instead off having to change for others.

And i would definatly not allow a stranger into my house, who had a record, the guy i let stay had known me for 5 years, so yes, wise call.
