Hi,

I'm new here. I thought I'd come and be a part of a community that I can better relate with.

I was giving out some geek t-shirts at a conference not long ago and ran into a guy who does affiliate marketing for Walmart and his buddy (I think...). Anyway, I asked them if they'd like some t-shirts. His buddy said sure until the guy from Walmart said I've insulted him by wanting to give him a geek shirt. He said he's not a geek. I was discombobulated! His friend then decided that he didn't want a shirt eithr. What's wrong with being a geek or labeled a geek? There's absolutely nothing wrong with it! As far as I'm concerned, anyone who has lots of interests in the Internet or in anything is a geek!
