I apologize for not starting off with an intro, i was reading the threads once i created my account and thought i'd throw in something just toget started. I'll gladly give you guys some background about me, but im tired of being attacked in forums, i've been contributing in forums for a very long time and i always hated people who attack new people just cause they are new.

But i'm a guy who's very involved in online communities and heard some good things about this forum and thought i'd give it a shot. I'm currently enrolled in college in toronto, taking corporate media production. so i'm on a computer most of the day. i learn to work with video audio computer software. i learn to set up repair and assemble audio equipment video equipment. Worked a few shows since i started, so it's not all just school. I have some experiance in the field. I have photography as one of my hobbies and thats why i have taken the time to learn photoshop to assist me in my hobby. I spend most of the day infront of a monitor or tangled in wires, but when i'm not i'm either partying playing football or baseball.

I have heard good things about this forum, lots to learn interesting and nice people to interact with. I didn't want to start off on a bad foot but like i said i hate when people just attack others for being new. I have been using the internet since 1995 browsing through with Mosaic. I have been on many forums and i love what you can gain from them and what i can give to them. I hope the rumors of this forum are true. only time will tell.

We dont allow attacks just because one is new.

1. You weren't attacked. You were asked who you were; no more unceremoniously than your disregard for the rules here.

This is usually due to one's own behavior. Already you've riled THREE moderators here; congratulations you've smoothed things over with one.
 To be honest, I'm not real impressed so far; but that's not a requirement here. I do hope you become a valuable contributing member here, I would hope you can read posts and not make drama where there's none. (ie; like the "being attacked for being new was only a question" thing). People who get attacked regularly in forums generally bring it on themselves. Don't do that here.

Attacking someone here simply for "being new" is a bannable offense.  Nobody does that here.

I would rather not single out specific people and link them to me. If they want to say they know me that is up to them but i won't do it. I don't even really know their usernames on here i would have to ask them. And certain people would mention it here and there on a local forum here in TO (well before it went down a few weeks ago) .
