Yeah, a rottweiler killed my Percy too. Percy wandered into his yard though. I still give the dog a dirty look though when I come home. That'll show him!!

I completely know the pain. When we first moved here my cat, Kitty (go figure), wanted to go outside. Generally we don't let our cats out until a few months after we've moved for reasons like dogs and mean neighbors. (One neighbor kicked my cat George in the side, breaking its ribs, thus rendering it drowning in his own blood, and finally dead.) But Kitty just had to have out. He started peeing on things, and I can't stand the smell of catpee. So, I decided 'ah, once won't kill him', and then he never came back! DON'T GIVE IN. No matter how cute or sad or pathetic that little kitty face is.
