Upgrading from KDE 4.2.4 to KDE 3.5.10 in Slackware 13

I don't know how many Linux users we have floating around here, and among them, how many Slackware users.

But just in case, I just did a full writeup for how to fix KDE in the new Slackware 13.0 release, for those of you who may be interested.   It can be found on my Linux and technology blog, here.

Let me know if any of you try this and get different results than I did; I've only done it on VirtualBox so far, so there is the real possibility that this might work differently on real hardware.
