Force Organizer (Ver. 1.0)
Product Website: http://www.webforcecreations.com" TARGET="BLANK">Web Force Creations
Price: 14.95 (USD)

  • Background:

Many of us live very busy lives in today's society, and scheduling activates for ourselves, our children, and god knows what else is nearly impossible to handle all at one time. Force Organizer designed by Web Force Creations hopes to give you a helping hand by giving you a simple interface to enter all of your activates into, which will later remind you to carry them out so you don't have to remember them.

  • Background:

Downloading this small program was not difficult at all, and only took roughly 10 seconds to download the entire executable file, and took about another 10 seconds to install. Installation is made easy with roughly three or four steps, and once you have completed all of those steps, the program will begin to install itself to your computer. Simple enough. Force Organizer will place a shortcut on your desktop for you to give you easy access to the program later on.

  • Features:

There are only two main features of Force Organizer. One gives you the option to print out your scheduled tasks, and the other gives you the option to have a reminder popup on your computer telling you that something needs to be done. Believe it or not, I made this program a whole lot harder than it needed to be to use. Upon installation and first use of the program, there is a reminder to purchase Force Organizer. Instead of deleting that reminder and adding a new one, I thought I could simply edit that one and have it work. That led to a decent amount of problems. I emailed Patrick Hankinson, the main support guru for Force Organizer, several times about the problem. Needless to say Web Force Creations offers great support, as he replied within 10 minutes. After he and I were stumped, I decided to delete what was there, and start over once again.

Creating a new task is simple. Simply click on the red cross towards the bottom of the main screen and fill out all of the text boxes that you are presented with. If you for some reason mess up while adding a task, you can simply edit it by clicking on the blue ball right next to the red cross.

After creating a new task, Force Organizer did just what it was supposed to do. At the right time, a message popped up stating that something needed to be done at that time.

Force Organizer's reminds pops up when the time is right.

One down side that I noticed on the program while reviewing it is that when you generate a list to be printed out, it does not list the times and dates next to each title. I feel as though if the program printed out the date, time, and the description all on the same sheet, then you would have a really good agenda program for a very low price.

  • Overall:

If Web Force Creations were to add a few more features into the print feature, and possibly an email function as well to email you while you're at work regarding a task that you need to carry out, then Force Organizer would be a pretty powerful program that doesn't take up much room on your computer, is easy to use, and doesn't cost much money to register. Hopefully Web Force Creations will add those features into later versions of their product, I believe it has the potential to be a widely used organizer program.

Seems pretty basic. Ever heared of outlook? You can do all that stuff, and so much more, in outlook. I suppose if you don't have outlook and don't have $$$ for it, then force organizer is a good alternative.
