So my first 360 RRoD'd (imagine that). When I plugged my harddrive into my new one, all my downloadable games were reverted back to demos even though I had the whole game downloaded. My game add-on DLC also stopped working. I contacted XBox Live technical support about the issue. They said that the DRM rights were still linked to my old console, and gave me a link to try to correct the problem. http://support.com/kb/963711And guess what? 404! Does anyone have any clues on how to fix this? I miss playing Shadow Complex.

I was accepted as a beta tester for Home yesterday, and I'm quite impressed. Some things (like stores in the mall area) haven't been implemented yet, but there is now an easy way to meet other players on the PlayStation Network.
You can fully customize your character's look (mine looks exactly like me), but clothing options are limited, so far.
And really, other than bowling, pool, and a few scattered arcade machines, there really isn't anything to do besides talk to other people. But this is still in beta, so more features will be coming soon. Hopefully.

Well, there's one weekend wasted.
I bought the game Friday, and absolutely fell in love. Starting as a little single-cell brainless thing, to guide your little critter to sentience, then civilization. If you've already messed with the Creature Creator, there are several different types of creators bundled with the full game, including cars, ships, planes, and spaceships. Eventually, your little race becomes galactically dominant, sending out it's DNA in the form of an asteroid, barreling through space, just waiting for another lifeless little planet to start all over.

I know that a basilong (also referred to as a "Butterfly Knife") is legal here in PA, but I was wondering which states consider it illegal. Just so I know which states I "can't" live in.
EDIT: Below is mine.
EDIT: sorry, had to edit the topic title. The misspelling was driving me nuts. -- Demosthenes

I feel like a rube asking, but if it's 7:00 PM in Vegas, what time is it in the Eastern zone?

Okay, I ripped a DVD to my computer, but it's in 2 different files. One is 702 mb, the other is 272 mb. What I want to do is combine the two back into one video file. Does anyone know of a program that can do that?

I got a PS3 yesterday. Not, my computer already has an 802.11 G wireless receiver, and I was wondering which router would be the best way to go.
There's one at a store here in my area, for like $40, that would connect with my receiver in my comp, but I'm not so sure with the PS3.
Does anyone have any pointers?

Okay, so yesterday I weat to WalMart to get one last X-Mas present. When I first entered the doors, I had to shake my head. I saw a 6-year-old, talking on a Motorola Razor cell phone. I thought to myself: "What a sad age we live in."
Later, in the same sotre, I was getting food for my rat, when I decided to walk through the toy isle. The traditional board games (games like Monopoly and Scrabble , which had their separate isle) was completely empty.
When I went to check out, the front registeres were all full, so I make the decision to go to Electronics to check out, so as to get the hell out of there. But, electronics was completely swamped, making my wait 5 minutes longer than it would have been if I had used a self-checkout.
Does anyone else see something wrong with this?

Okay, so I "aquired" what I think are the images of a 2-disk game. Each "disk" has 2 files:
[blah-blah-blah].mdf [blah-blah-blah].mds
The .mdf one is 726 Mb, ad the .mds one is only 486 bytes.
Would anyone know what program to use to restore these images to a CD?

Just found out at 8:30 in the morning. I'm having another kid. That makes three. Time for the stress to really begin. Tracy's a pain in the ass when she's pregnant. I can honestly say though, I'm happy.

With a badass Dolby 5.1 Digitl Surround system that I only paid $20 for...
I'm happy.

I recently bought a PSP, and found various emulators(NES,SNES) online for it. Problem is, I can't get any of them to work. Anyone done this before and can tell me how to do it?
