I suppose I should get rid of it.

Maybe tomorrow. I'm tired.

I waited too long to loot the body and it's gone now :(
I'll remember to check the next one.
I apologize to catwritr, I did not know you were a spider.  Are you available for work?

Thanks for the tips 12, now I know how to hit on a spider...  Hey, wait!

Catwritr, pretty thing, I can lay you down on a bed of leaves and vibrate you until you can't talk or walk straight.  What do you say?

That was Wunderkind.

But let your offer stand. You won't regret it.

To hell with the 50-post thing: I'll just cut to the chase and answer your question now.

IT'S BROKEN.

Turns out that he defriended me.  Over that.

Could've been worse. He could've not defriended you.

Or, worse than that, told you that "you've changed".

I mean THEY. THEY are legion.

257
Sure, they're non-union -- now. But soon they'll twig to the fact that The Man has the power to hire, and he has the power to stomp. To live at the whim of some greedy arachnophobe who suffers your existence only so far as the fruits of your labor please him, always on the brink of sudden death by bug spray, is not to live at all.

There is safety -- and bargaining power -- in numbers.

We are legion.

Sam: You serious? You're really thinking about quitting?
Frodo: The Fellowship?
Sam: Yeah.
Frodo: Most definitely.
Sam: Oh, fuck. What'cha gonna do, man?
Frodo: Well, that's what I've been sitting here contemplating. First, I'm going to deliver this ring to Sauron, then, basically, I'm just going to walk the Earth.
Sam: What'cha mean, "walk the earth"?
Frodo: You know, like Caine in Kung Fu, walk from place to place, meet people, get into adventures.
Sam: And how long do you intend to walk the earth?
Frodo: Until Gandalf puts me where he wants me to be.
Sam: And what if he don't do that?
Frodo: If it takes forever, then I'll walk forever.
Sam: So you decided to be a bum?
Frodo: I'll just be Frodo, Samwise – no more, no less.
Sam: Let me ask you something, when did you think up all of this shit? When you were sitting there eating that lembas?
Frodo: Yeah, I was sitting here, eating my lembas and drinking my miruvor, when I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity.

Hey, I worked my ass off to craft this little bit of Pulp Fiction/LOTR mashup, so I'm fucking requoting it.

Well, clearly Ceiling Cat is too busy being virtuous and beneficent, and has no time to hone his barking technique.

All that aside, what that first cat is doing is a much louder version of the bird calls I hear my cats doing at times. What my cats do sounds just like a kid's imitation of a machine gun. EH-EH-EH-EH-EH-EH-EH-EH-EH!

It's eerie.

Don't encourage this person.  Given the links that were in its signature, they're almost certainly merely a forum spammer and nothing more.

Jane Eyre? We're getting a higher class of spammers.

When I was but a wee tyke, my favourite color was magenta. I probably learned its name and shade thanks to Crayola. Later, when I found myself in a land with no Crayola, and having taken up painting, I attempted to recreate magenta by mixing various likely shades of reds, purples, blues and pinks, which greatly expanded my own definition of magenta.

Then I grew up and came back to the States and found out that magenta stopped being psychedelic in 1972 and became officially gay some time around 1975, so I like green now.

1. Black coat? Check.
2. Diabolical talent? Check.
3. Penchant for stirring trouble with the neighbor's dog, ready to blame the dog on the basis that cat's don't bark?  Check.
4. Simultaneously failing at your evil plan and improving your image of an intellectual capable of higher reasoning?  Priceless.

-sigh-  Such is the life of a Basemen Cat.

Forgive me if you have already seen this.

Rhapsody Of Fire
Blind Guardian
Turisas
Hibria

Check out this Turisas acoustic session: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UznVH-lSATA. The video's a little out of synch, but you get the idea.

Hiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! 8D

So I'm a geek named Macy, I'm 20 years old, and I'm here because I wanna meet other fellow geeks! :D

You've come to the right place! There are many other fellow geeks here!

Quote
But I also am facing a problem, well my friend is, and I couldn't even fix it. :(

Awwww. Now I has a sad.

Quote

The situation:

Ha-ha! Jersey Shore! That's my favourite show!

Quote

I was just wondering if someone could please help me, well my friend!

Uh-huh. "Your friend." Got it.

Quote
The situation is that my friend Chelsey's external hard drive won't recognize her laptop anymore after plugging it in her friend's laptop.

Ok, first thing to check: is her laptop wearing a disguise, like maybe those Groucho nose-glasses? Cause that could TOTALLY throw the hard drive off.

Quote
She has a Western Digital Terabyte hard drive and both the laptops were good. She told me that her friend was gonna transfer White Chicks (my fave movie) from her laptop to the hard drive which was plugged on Chelsey's laptop. She said that her laptop didn't recognize the hard drive at first then it did, but couldn't transfer White Chicks for some odd reason so they just cancelled it and didn't transfer anything.

Ok, were you doing a "transfer" or a "copy"? Because if you type "transfer white chicks" at the command prompt, your hard drive will explode. Always type "copy white chicks".

Quote
After awhile, Chelsey's laptop was being a tard

Did you tell it that? Did you say that out loud? You may have hurt the laptop's feelings if you did.

Quote
and wouldn't shut down so they tried CTRL + ALT + DEL and end tasks and shut it down. The next day, her hard drive doesn't recognize her laptop anymore and she blames her friend's laptop for it >.> but why does it do that?

Because it's a tard. BUT DON'T TELL IT THAT!

Quote
Chels said that whenever she plugs her hard drive on to her laptop, it doesn't do anything anymore so she thinks it's broken now or something.

Please help! Any suggestions or anything?

Yes. Tell "Chels" that her hard drive is broken or something.

Someone deletes your profile, and all the privileges, rank, and Coolio Points you had; and you

start over.

An occasional re-boot can be good.

I guess.

I'm not sure how I feel about my self-inflicted re-boot. Or, rather, I don't remember how I felt.

So let's just say an occasional re-boot can be good.
