I wanna go see it really bad.  But with a newborn in the house, it's hard to find that kind of block of time.

If it helps, I've already seen it so you'll have one less homicidal movie-goer on your hands if your newborn starts crying.

I don't see why it wouldn't be able to run a different OS. As long as the Dell runs SATA. The BIOS should have the necessary drivers for the HD. But, maybe it doesn't.

Wha? Your Dell is "set up" to run Win 7 64 so you can't run a different OS? That's a thing?

Ugh. It's so hard to stay mean when they don't play along.

Look, this could very well belong in Anarchy (although, perhaps Entertainment would be more suitable). However, since you decided to post a bunch of links without introducing yourself first in our Intro area, you will find no interest in whatever you posted (I only read the title).

What you do with this information is up to you.

I wish Novice would clarify his statements against strip clubs. It makes me sad to read such awful words.

Went to downtown Denver and checked out a lame club (but they're all lame aren't they?) and a strip club.

The strip club was after the lame club. The strip club was not lame.

I was just in Denver.

Day 1 :
- Went to the Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Jaguar / Aston Martin, Ferrari / Lotus, and Lexus dealerships and test drove cars as I recently came into a good deal of money from "my trust fund". Which, of course, was bogus. Fun anyway.
- Drank "loaded Coronas" which is a Corona + lime + shot of lime tequila. After my companions and I were sufficiently intoxicated we went swimming at the local pool which almost got us a ticket for "Disturbing the Peace". LOL!!

Day 2:
- Went to Breckenridge, CO. It's a tourist / ski town at about 9,600 ft. of elevation. We drank at the Breckenridge brewery which made a pretty decent IPA and hit up the O2 bar which is supposed to help with the elevation. Best $12 I've spent on O2 in all my life.
- Went to downtown Denver and checked out a lame club (but they're all lame aren't they?) and a strip club.

All-in-all had a pretty good time for just two whole days in Denver. I'd love to go back to that area for a week or so just so make sure I hit everything. Wish I could have visited Boulder, CO.

Oh, my bad. What the hell is Startfest?

**edit-  If you can imagine being a child's grandparent that the child has always known as "granddad" - with no question to it; as compared to being (from the child's POV) that old man that lives with Grandma now. See the difference there?

Definite difference. My Dad's Dad died when he (my Dad) was pretty young, but I've always remembered 'that old man that lives with Grandma' (my Dad's step-Dad). He was always there but I never thought of him as my Granddad. He's gone now, but my feelings towards the whole situation had a great deal to do with my Dad's feelings towards it.

Specifically, my Dad never thought of him as a step parent so the feelings pretty much transferred to me.

How is Prof. better than Home Premium? I ask because I'm too lazy to look it up.

Hm. Now that you mention it, besides the stuff I would never use (domain join, XP mode, some stupid backup thing), probably nothing. Unless of course I decide to upgrade my laptop to use more than 16 Gigs of memory.

Well, since we're in the Flamer's Corner . . this reminds me. I get a free version of Win 7 Prof. but I can't freaking use it!

Since I'm already using a version of Win 7, I have to use the Windows Anytime Upgrade tool instead of just slapping in the DVD. Well, turns out Windows Anytime Upgrade doesn't support student licenses for upgrades. Great!

"Why don't you just do a clean install?" You might be asking. Well I'll tell you! HP doesn't support this. At all. A lot of my hardware isn't integrated and would require a massive amount of drivers to get going after the upgrade. If I end up screwing something up, I'd be SOL. And I don't trust myself.

Plus, it occurs to me that some Windows student licenses expire when you graduate. Which would blow.

tl;dr I'm lazy / cheap enough to stick with Home Premium.

The roof is undergoing an exothermic chemical reaction that is producing a plasma emitting electromagnetic radiation that includes, but is not limited to, wavelengths between 350nm and 750nm.

And I thought I had a chance.

Horay, Jaepheth.

And check out that sweet sig.

Detta, I care not about doing this for points anymore. Honestly, it was a bitch during finals for me to make sure I answered on the right days. Like homework. I'd be perfectly happy if you found the time to puzzle us at all.

The temp has been high 90's to 100's out here lately so I imagine that 6.0 and the total will be fluctuating towards the end here due to my hydration level. My graduation ceremony and the end of the competition is the 14th. I'll be sure to let you know who wins! (It'll be me).

Gotta start looking for some more motivation in case I decide I don't care about being a thinner person anymore.
