I can see my initial opinion was probably right. I don't think I'll be sticking around to read any more threads that deteriorate into drivel as this one has. Thank you to the few of you who welcomed me, but good bye. Novice -- judiciously backing out of the room.
Seriously, though, if you haven't already given up on us, I'd probably head to a hunting store or something like that nearby. They might have those or similar models to test out or at least some helpful advice to help you make your decision.

And I suppose you can't SSH tunnel out? I think I still have a local account on Azalin for you.
I still have that info saved, but no, can't SSH out either. I find that part strange. Being in tech support, I've had to SSH to a customer site to help out a time or two back at Cisco. I just need an excuse to make them open it up for me here. I use team viewer to remote into my home pc and do whatever I want without work being any the wiser.
Hm.. let's find out!

It was over as soon as Chrome started doing this:  Too many tabs to know which one has that annoying ad that somehow got past DoNotTrackMe or your ad blocker and is currently raping your ears with terribleness? I can't keep this junk off because my diet is not maintainable. It's a barely-justifiable nightmare. What I wouldn't give for something with bread in it. Oh well, -10 will keep me going.

Well it's been over a year and I failed at keeping it off. Mostly due to starting my new full-time-I'm-a-real-boy job and also being lazy. The good news is I'm trying again..

I figure even though no one really posts here anymore, I need a place to document my progress. I imagine it will also keep me motivated because it's public info. My main motivation is getting back into my thin-guy suit so I can wear it for an upcoming event.
