The FOE and Sierra Club caused the war in Iraq by keeping energy prices so high that people like Saddam Hussein would spring up and take over the middle eastern nations in their greed. If we`d been allowed to drill for oil in Alaska and off the coast of California and allowed to develop nuclear power there`d be no need to "protect the juglar" as the democraps call it. If you don`t believe me ask a Califonian after their next blackout. Hell, without the environmentalist whacko`s there`d be no OPEC.

Actually, you're wrong. Big businesses and White Collar Crime is what is normally at fault for fucking up things.

Like the Savings and Loan scandal. Did you know that because of that, every tax payer will have to pay the government $15000 until the government debt on that issue is covered? And no one served anymore time in jail than a couple of years.

If you want something you can point your finger at if something fucks up things at a community-wide level and above, big businesses and the government and white collar crime are good people to blame. Also people who aren't intelligent enough to see stuff like that and instead say, "Go back to the grassy knoll," out of ignorance.

The political forums will often generate debates and difference of opinions. Sensitive topics are often discussed in these forums. That's the point of having them. However, if a person can't debate in a civilised manner and not take things personally they should not participate in the political forums. If someone doesn't respect someone else because of frustrations generated by the discussion, someone could find themselves at the end of my ban stick +12.

porcuswine, I think you're a tad off. I'm as free capitalist as they come. Most times I would say it is the government screwing things up, not big business, but that was clearly an episode of attempting to tilt market forces for economic gain.
