Just got an MP3 player, the NOMAD Jukebox. Holds 10 GIGS of memory (250% of my comps storage with nothing installed), is lightweight, rechargable, and best of all organized. You can make playlists, organize by album/artist/genre....not like those crappy 64 MB ones that only hold an hours worth of music...lets do the calculations...and overestimate.

5 Megs a song
and 5 GIGS of memory available to MP3ing..

5 x 1000 songs...5 gigs.

so 5000 songs...thats pretty good. Lets say each "album" has 15 tracks, which is also an overestimate. Thats 333 albums!! Now...I will be using about 20 albums, based on my averaging right now. Thats only 6% of the "5 GIG" Capacity!

Thank God, this thing can also double as a hard drive.

But batteries only last five hours....

Still its good!

That's the problem I've heard with the hard-drive type MP3 players... battery life is still woefully short for most of them.

I already have my eye on the one I want though.  Apple has started making a PC-compatible version of their iPod, which is hands-down the most coveted portable MP3 device on the market right now.

And now I can get one that will work with my system.  Muahahahahahaha!

I wish I left the house so I could make use of an mp3 player.   :?

i have a riovolt, it plays mp3 cd's - 200 songs to a cd, give or take. battery life is nice. the shock protection for mp3's is like two minutes, heh... it is a great cd player (it plays normal cd's as well...)
