What base should my site have?

Coded in php/html/css But still be more static and not have a complex backend to handle content
- 2 (16.7%)
Coded in php and the like but be open to the public so everybody can post their art..

Use some shitty gallery script and make a kickass layout so you can't notice

Coded in php but only have art that i choose to close security holes and filter out shitty art

It would be cool if you could actually let people upload some of their "art" and others can view it.

You just want to make sure that you prevent people from hotlinking stuff because you know they'll just upload some stuff to use at another forum, and make sure they can only upload jpgs or gifs and under X amount since they'll upload mp3s and stuff, too.

no... i decided its going to be just me and a couple friend's arts possibly..
more of a portfolio...

just deciding on the backend right now. how dependant on scripting i should make it..
