Tryin somethin new
« on: January 13, 2005, 02:05:45 AM »

Ok so I'm not exactly all to sure as to how I'm supposed to introduce my self since there's never really a good way. But my names Tiff and I'm tryin this out. I was told there are some intelegent people talking here and I'm tired of crude remarks and short sighted people. I love the outdoors, I like hiking, biking, swimming and just about everyhting else under the sun, I like trying new things all the time and i rarely hesistate to think twice once I've made up my mind. I've seen some of the entries here and they fasinate me.

Acouple of things I think are worth noteing are a couple things . . .

Two roads diverged in a wood and I took the one less traveled by and that has made all the difference - Robert Frost

Do what you will today cause tomarrow you might be dead -Writters of buffy the Vampire Slayer(geeky yes but true)

I know this may have been a very selfcentered note, but how else do you make an introduction if you have no idea what you are doing.

To be truly geeky you should quote the original "Eat, drink and be merry. For tomorrow we die." It is a saying from ancient Egypt.

Welcome head strong one.

Well, welcome.  I'd do all that outdoorsy stuff too if I wasn't hungover all the time.

yet again with the short sightedness
« Reply #14 on: January 13, 2005, 05:31:34 PM »

Somehow spelling didn't seem to strike me as something that had anything what so ever to do with your soul. ehhem Ivan. Personally I couldn't care less if someone could spell hello! But I'm on a laptop and that's my excuse, sorry if proof reading is not my life.  However thank you anyone else who said hi and was polite about my grammatical errors.  I will lighten up when the board is pulled out of my ass.
Oh n feel free to message me I talk a bit more easy going when I'm not talkin to a broad audience.
Outdoors and drinking nice! It's a new way to experience nature(although i would never consider it) and for those who care I'm physically short sighted but that is beyond the point.

Uh... Groovy!

About that board in your ass -- I'll be happy to remove it for you.

And I wasn't really busting your chops about the spelling thing -- just poking you with a stick. These forums appear to be much more lenient about spelling than where I usually hang out. When I say you eschew things grammatical, it's not neccessarily a judgment -- just an observation.

However, this is a medium that largely depends of the written word. You could've posted a picture in way of a greeting, in which case the picture would have conveyed whatever you wished to convey. But when you choose words to convey your meaning, then the way you use those words are themselves a message. To me, writing an ill-worded, sloppy or careless greeting is the equivalent of offering a handshake with an unwashed hand.

I don't either. I didn't know she was a teenager. She shouldn't be bf-ing her friend at her age.
