I'm into Grey's Anatomy. I only started to watch it recently during season 3. My wife came home with the DVDs for season 1 and 2 the other day so we've been watching a few shows per night.

I haven't had time to watch anything the past few weeks.  Plus we now have a Tivo (a friend gave us his old box with 10 months paid on it since he upgraded to HD Tivo with THX), and I haven't had a chance to hook it up.  Anyone know offhand, if Tivo works with analog cable, or do I have to upgrade to digital cable?

I don't really watch tv, but when I do I watch a couple shows on g4tv. Attack of the Show mainly (basically geek news)

I've had a recent obsession with "The Girls Next Door" on E! and "What Not to Wear" on TLC.  Cannot explain it, the shows just fascinate me.  A small sampling of heavily edited human nature.

Had a recent resurgance of watching The Last Train, a great mini series first shown over here in '99.  Was replayed (Seemingly in one night) on Sci-Fi a while back.  If you get the chance, I highly recommend checking it out.  One of the few decent Brittish Sci-Fi attempts (Save Dr. Who, of course)

Still watching Lost for some reason, don't even ask me why.  If they don't get to some kind of point soon and answer more questions than they raise then I'm gonna... keep watching until they do.  I can't help it, I'm addicted!! =P

I pretty much stopped watching regular TV when I got broadband, YouTube is my new televisual outlet!

Yeah I mostly do the same, but there are a couple of standard TV shows that I download. I realized yesterday that my computer has replaced both my TV and my phone now.

Funny you should mention that. I was going to post an idea and see how many holes could be found - replacing the TV with a computer, essentially. What I had in mind is to use the TV basically as a giant "monitor" for a pc optimized as a Media Center.

All of this would be on the same screen (as it is now on my monitor) with features such as "blended window"- where the TV signal is translucent so one can see the taskbar and desktop, etc. This is handy as hell when Im home working! :-D
 I understand the differences between the resolution, etc; but that can be worked out.
Personally, I dont get why a Computer TV (CHDTV OMFGLOL!!1!) hasn't already been built and marketed. Everybody still selling and buying DVD players and the like to hook up to TVs.
 Why not a big TV screen on top of a processor/chipset, and a fatass, fast hard drive, DVD+-RW, and a network connection. Wireless keyboard and mouce, and a remote control (yes; my pc has a remote control on it now; as does the TV) to control everything.

 So,, there's the idea. Shoot it down?

Uh...another idea that could be implemented in that is a webcam, and Vonage; for some kickass videophone calls.
