My girlfriend has put on a lot of weight since I met her. At firts it kind of pissed me off but then i started getting more and more attracted to her new fuller figure. Do others feel the same way? Or have you ever dumped a girl because she got fat?  :?:

This site isn't named "The Geekery" for nothing. Although some of the senior members, and I mean "senior" like age-wise (not post-wise or anything like that) have girlfriends or wives.

It actually depends on what you think. As you get older looks really don't matter as much. The role begins to change as you age more, from wanting to reproduce (IE: Sex) to taking care of children that you have already had.

But really, I'd say take a few days under a fig tree to think about "dumping" her or not.

There comes a time in every mans life where he must decide whether he wants to be a single "hit and run" bachelor for the rest of his life or stick with one women he actually enjoys spending time with.

If you still like her obviously she is good to go. if you have problems pleasing her take up Kama Sutra they have a position for every size of person ;).

Here's a politicly correct version of my suggestion:

I don't think it would be appropriate to dump a girl because she got fat. First of all, looks doesn't matter as much as you get older. However, if someone really felt unconfortable with the situation, they should take action. Get your girlfriend on a weight lost program. Provide encouragement and try to participate with her. Read between the lines here..... Help her break a sweat by making the whole physical activity fun.

I didn't delete anything. What happened was I made a backup of the forum, and after I made the backup you made that post. Thus meaning it was not in the backup I made, and when I made the switch it was all gone.
