Greetings to all.

With some of you, I am aquainted, and with others, not yet - so here we go.

My name (in the RealWorld®) is Michael, I'm a Floridiot, and enjoy many fine cheeses (though not quite as much as pb I suspect). I'm also old and cranky, but will attempt to put the crankiness aside during my posts (at least for a little while).

The Captain and I were just thinking how much my fingers hurt from the recent run-in with the car thief/alligator.... and I thought, "damn that alligator! damn him to heck! I'm goin online whether he likes it or not!" Then I looked down at my new pair of boots and said "Take that, bitch!"

Whew, first post and I'm swearing already. That Cap'n will do it every time.

For you U.S.'ers, Happy Thanksgiving. For those outside, Happy Thursday evening.

Yes, I believe I've only been there a month. Just started getting settled in, having some fun, and then something broke.

You know, things are always breaking around me. It's like there's a 'radius of breakage' exending outward from my body. Normally it seems to affect automobiles and my own computer equipment, but mayhap my power is growing....

Yeah, one with a lot of dollars in it. And if they're all singles, that's okay too -- I know of a few fine establishments where the female 'help' would be interested in them.

You sure that law wasn't that you hafta stay 6' away from whinney grandmas when they dance?

If you're correct (and I've no doubt you are), that means that SC has more liberal lap dance laws than FLA!! Un-freakin'-believeable! This whole area is so screwed up... You can get body piercing done legally in SC - tatoos, however, are ILLegal. So you have to go just across the state line to GA to get a tatoo. Then on Sunday - NO ALCOHOL. So you have to make a beer run just across the state line into NC. Now you're telling me if I was in FLA and wanted a lap dance, I'd hafta go just across the state line to GA? Jeez...

Yep, it's a wacky swamp, I tell ya. Now the 6' rule is only for the county I live in (Hilsborough). If I drive over to St. Pete (in Pinellas), the rule doesn't apply. At least not yet... I think. So you can catch a lap dance and a Devil Rays game if that's your thing (thing = watch a losing baseball team).

And our beer laws are just as dumb. The state things that Jesus doesn't want us to drink until 1pm on Sundays, and also not after 11pm in some towns, midnight in others. When I was in college, we would go to one store up until 11pm, then the store across the street (which was in a different 'town', technically) to buy beer until midnight. Ka- WEEEEEEEEEEEER!
