Robert D. = epic fail at being a super hero, do not get me wrong I like the guys acting abilities but he is not crime fighting material. No matter how much he can relate to a pill popping loser I do not like him for this role.
Have you ever read an Iron man comic? Do you know anything about Tony Stark? Have you seen the trailer?

Because if you have then you have poor taste. Robert Downy Jr is perfect for the roll. At first I was skeptical but then after much thought I knew it would be good. Now after seeing the trailers I know for SURE it will be awesome because of him, his acting and the EXCELLENT casting choice made.

Who else could pull this off as well as him?

The only one who could possibly be better for the role is Olivia Newton John.

I would have gone with Pierce Brosnan, because he made such an excellent James Bond...

Anyone who can take the lead in Xanadu can take the lead in any film.

I'm looking forward to seeing this film...it's super rare that I see a trailer for a comic-book/super-hero/Marvel film and think that I wanna see it!
But I've been looking forward to seeing this one and won 4 tickets to see it for free.
Free Robert Downey Jr...not a bad combination! :D

What are these...tickets...you mention? Tickets? For a movie theater? I won't waste my time, or money.

I have a computer, the Intarweb, and a PS3. Figure it out.

I saw Iron Man this week and just sat there grinning like a little kid! I really loved this film -Bob Downey (the younger) really suited the role, Gyneth Paltrow was appropriately pretty and there were big bangs and things of that nature. I missed the little bit at the end of the credits (didn't know it was there), but saw it online and it made me even more hopeful for the impending sequel (supposedly 2010 ... how am I supposed to wait so long?!)

Edit: Oh, and Stan Lee as Hugh Hefner - nice.
