People are now too stupid to think for themselves

So what this guy is saying is that if each Big Mac came with nutritional information, he would not be fat? He would actually read all that small print and then think, "hmm... these could be bad for me". Yea right, if he's dumb enough not to know that oil has fat in it, how the hell can he read?

He is now also agreeing that whatever he reads must be true. That includes sticking his dick into an electrical outlet and he will not risk injury.

There's always someone trying to get money for being stupid.

It's not even that... it's someone's always trying to claim that someone else is responsible for all of their problems.

Claiming one's self to be stupid/ignorant is only a small part of that overlying issue. The "I wasn't aware that this thing was harmful to me, even though common sense would have told me that it was" syndrome. Most of those people are stupid, true, and those that actually cause harm to themselves as a direct result of that stupidity are then just looking for away to rationalize this out to a scenario that doesn't solely rest on their own shoulders... it's so much easier to say "it wasn't my fault because I'm stupid... it was their fault for not TELLING ME this was dangerous!"

Life must be so easy and simple when nothing is your fault, and everyone else is responsible for your own well-being.

I'm of the firm opinion that all warning labels should be removed from all products of all kinds, and precedents should be set of high-up judges throwing out lawsuits involving people doing harm to themselves through no other fault but their own.

I also think they need to bring back the show "Jackass".

Not because I watched it. I've never even seen it. But because while the show ran, I constantly heard about people injuring themselves by attempting the stupid, dangerous stunts featured in the show. I think this is a good thing. Hopefully, if they bring the show back, and maybe start fifteen or twenty other shows similar to it, all over the networks, more stupid people will imitate what they see, and possibly even take themselves completely out of the gene pool in the process. That would be a great boon to our society as a whole, don't you think?

Oh yeah that one.... I cringe every time I see it. But that's exactly what I'm talking about. We need lots more of that kind of thing in this country. That's why there should be The Jackass Channel (TJC) on all basic cable setups, that plays nothing but Jackass type shows, 24/7. And shows like it should be on all the major networks as well.

And it should be made clear that such shows would be utterly, totally immune to lawsuits, because legally speaking, people are responsible for their own actions, not television shows/networks/media companies.

It's really too bad that dumbshit lived through that. Oh well. He's bound to take himself out sooner or later. People that dumb don't learn their lesson, even after a close call like that. He'll try again. And that's encouraging, isn't it?

I read somewhere that this guy, while driving his brand-new Winnebaego, put it in cruise, then calmly left the driver's seat to get himself a cup of coffee.

Naturally, the thing crashed and overturned. He sued the company for not advising him in the handbook that he could not actually DO that. He got 780,000 dollars AND a new Winebaego.

Shows that with the right lawyer/attorney, you can win ANYTHING in the U.S.

It's quite common for us to reply this fast to a lot of stuff in short amounts of time. Most of us here don't have what normal people would call a "real life". I do use the term "most" loosly, however.

As for storming anyplace... why not get some of your friends to come and join here, too? Maybe help make it more interesting?
