I dredged this up as a point of reference.
Your efforts are sure to go unnoticed, as no one will think much of the user who, eight years back, used to be a post whore at hacker network. My only consolation in this trifling tableau is that I can start anew with the users of a forum which, for some reason, I come back to intermittently.

**I changed my avatar to resemble the one I used at the mother forum. A little skewed. Will fix it later.

New Geeks on the Block / another introduction

I posted @ HN in 2003-2004* under the alias LarstaiT, and dug this account from my email archive 'cause I felt nostalgic!

Mind tells me 2003 is more accurate

and realized I had lost my password to this forum. I saw my last post on these forums and the replies to my thread. I would like to mention that reserved judgment would be most appreciated, as I have changed since 2004 when I was ostracized in the hacker network forums for comments implying homophobia. Needless to say, I am far from a homophobe. I am an open-minded and laid-back person. I am an absurdist and a humanist.

I have my little Associates degree of computer programming, and will work on my Bachelor's next semester. I work in a welding shop full-time. I feel the need to post this tidbit in order to hopefully clarify any misinformation pertaining to myself. I can't let go of this relic of my forum-posting past and thus I hope to have a momentous welcoming party.  :-)

It would be nice to clarify if only gothic atheists are allowed to flame here.  :-P
