I would have classified myself as a Closet Geek for the longest time.  Hiding my secret shame of being an avid video and table-top RPG gamer.  I loved to play both, and quite frequently I might add, but I hid that fact from many of my non-geek friends.  Now... I'm out of the geek closet and proudly proclaiming myself a geek to the world.  I guess you could classify me as a Born Again Geek!  LOL... I still watch football, play fantasy sports, go to bars and pool halls when I get the occasional chance... but now I openly talk about my geekyness in public.

It feels good to be out of the geek closet... what a huge weight lifted off of my shoulders!

Well, I'm a complete noob... but I'll add in a program that may not be the geekiest of programs, and may not be the fanciest of programs, but I find it useful as hell.  First, let me just try to explain my extreme disdain for Office 2007.  Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of the new functionality, but I hate the ribbon style menus that replaced the good old fashioned menus I have become so darn accustomed to over the years.  So I was pretty freaking happy to find Classic Menu for Office 2007 by a company called Addintools.  It does exactly what you would think it would do and just adds the Office 2003 style menu seamlessly into Office 2007 giving me all the new functionality that I like, but the old way to find it and use it.

Like I said, definitely not groundbreaking technology, but for me, I loved it!

What's up all?  Just trying to spread the geek around.  I'm into gaming, technology, wireless stuff, Blackberries (or Crackberries) and all other Geeky kind of stuff.
I hope to be able to hang out here often and chat with all the other geeks of the world!
