As far as I can tell, I'm purely British.  Lancashire, England in "ancient times" being as far back as I've found.

Just Googled* my family history though...  There's a whole crapton of sites and databases dedicated to just that.  It's spooky.
What's even stranger is that a couple married in 1975 had a kid with the exact same name as me, right down to the spello and middle name.
