Title: Hello, My Name's Trevor.

My name's Trevor, and I am from Washington state. I came here looking for like minded people because it seems that the rest of the world still sucks. I Play video games, I have been working on studying java and C, I love the whole zombie theme, and I love survival books. I am an Ubuntu user.

To reply to all of you.

1) I couldn't afford college. But I have friends in WSU.

2) I personally stuck with Gnome 2. I have issues using the unity interface because I like my desktop clutter and notification bar. Plus I never put forth the effort into changing the stupid default workspace layout.

3) Are you talking about Washington DC?  :?

Not to sound like a zealot or anything, but have you tried Mint (http://www.linuxmint.com)?  It's Gnome 2, and a lot slicker and polished than Ubuntu out of the box.  I find that it takes a lot less tweaking and fidgeting to make it friendly after a fresh install than Ubuntu does.

I haven't yet, But I think my next redo of my harddrive will have a windows partition :-P, an ubuntu partition :lol:, and a mint or fedora partition ( basic debian throws fits with my eMachines E525 Laptop.

What?  No.  They don't have the circus where you live?  I hate the clowns.  I always want the act to change when they come out.

Sorry. My spelling and grammar seem to have died in the past couple days. Been handling all the calls for the ISP I work for... And apparently my spell check thought it was fine.

It's surprising you haven't gone on a spree yet.   :-o
