Title: Good Evening
Post by: JeanZM on August 01, 2010, 07:08:12 PM
Well as this is the place to introduce yourself I thought I'd go ahead and do so. Just like an 'about me' box anywhere else I am never sure what is appropriate here but I guess I'll go for the basics. I'm Jean, 18 and Scottish. I am starting University where I'll be studying Ancient History and Archeology and all my friends think it sounds incredibly boring which is why I'm holding out to meat some new people there. :) I spend a lot of time doing stereotypically geeky things but when I'm with my friends time is spent more on getting steaming and partying but a bit of variation is always good I guess. I love books, TV shows and movies concerning either sci-fi/fantasy or detective/crime genres. Massive Sherlock Holmes fan. I read a lot of cheesy manga usually with similar plots and I write a lot whether it's fiction or articles. I am also very heavy on opinions on politics :). However I am pathetic at maths and my musical skills/knowledge leave a lot to be desired. Oh and I am a vegetarian... To be frank this list could go on and on as I can hardly sum my self up just like any of us can't so I guess this will do. Nice to be here.

Welcome!

Whereabouts in Scotland are you from? I studied abroad at the University of St. Andrews for a year, and I have to say, I loved studying there for a year. I also managed to go down to Edinburgh a lot too to visit friends, and I have to say, if things don't work out in the States as far as jobs go in the future, I'd have no problem living there for a while!
