I was looking for a place to comment on how horrible the new Gizmodo layout is (I couldn't even find the comment space), and I realized that I don't really have a place to voice my joys, frustrations, likes, dislikes, etc. If you're really lucky, i'll come and drop some culture on you mofos.

Welcome. We here also voice frustrations.

Don't get me frustrated, or I will start googling EVERYTHING.

I haven't heard anyone voice anything on this site. Perhaps I should un-mute.

Nope, still nothing.

I'm pretty sure it's because you look like you could throw them over the roof of your vintage 1983 GMC G-Series van with its diagonal red stripe and red spoiler and then quack maniacally.
I'm just sayin'...

Wait... Is that what that is? A duck bill?
I did not know that.

I think it is the kind of quacker that a duck-billed Platypus has. Either way, it's mostly the "throw them over the roof of your vintage 1983 GMC G-Series van with its diagonal red stripe and red spoiler" that most people would be concerned about.

As well they should be!
Pity the fools.

I had the Frank N Furter duck as my avatar at BC for awhile.
-
That still does not explain the Mr. Platipus T avatar.
WHICH SHOULD by the way BE EXPLAINED!
-
Mr. Platypus T. Avatar
How do you do sir.

I was surfing the duck sites for interesting rubber duckies. Ian collects them. We have pirate ducks, carni ducks, thanksgiving ducks, firefighter ducks, etc. I found a site that had pop-culture ducks with Mr. T and Frank N Furter. I thought they were funny so I avatarized them. No platapuses were harmed in the making of that avatar.

I am relieved to hear that part in platycular.
