I've overclocked my CPU.... I've overclocked my video card.... Is there anything else you can overclock?
I have a P4C800E-Deluxe ASUS motherboard, which has bios overclocking capabilites  , however the first time I did it.... I only overclocked by 20% which brought my 2.8GIG to a 3.2GIG. I only played for like 5 min with my side cover of the tower off and restarted my computer, to re-set the CPU settings back to normal. On re-start it said CPU failure and I could not get past that.  After letting the computer sit for an hour I powered on again, this time no warning and I was able to set it back to normal settings.  Apparently this is a known problem with this board but not much word from ASUS on how to fix it. ANYONE here know of this  And seconldly I use PowerStrip to overclock the video card, and have found that to make a LARGE difference in performance. It's a Radeon 9600 Pro, found it to be much less effective on nvidea cards as the engines must be cranked from the factory  .

Well I picked it up...... not bad...... a little slow.... I was expecting a little more Unreal Tournament speed, but I never really played the origional DOOM so my expectations were blind. There is defianately a scare factor in the game.... lots of unexpected moments in the game.... I'm sure that will wear off as the game goes on.... But definately requires a top notch system.
I'm running a 2.8GIG P4 512 kindston DDR 3200 Ram 9600 Pro ATI Radeon Vid card 80GIG hard Drive and still I have to run the game at 640X480. It actually plays fairly smooth at 800X600 but it locks up the computer and I have to restart. At 640 it runs fine.... possibly a bug in the game? No patches available yet. 4

Doh!!! Do loot puchases come with a loot back guarentee? For some reason, whether it be my internet access or the way these are posted..... I can't view a damb thing!!!! Not a single image shows up. I have fiddled with all my IE settings...... and nothing has helped, all I get is a broken image.

No real plans per say....... but catch up on a few movies in the theaters.... take a camping trip or two, and a little bit of home renovations. Other than that... just enjoy the freedom and the quietness.

Yes...... and ..... no. I have had it before where it would work through the router (with my current firmware) where I could play on xboxlive, and hear my buds with the headset, and could talk..... but it would never connect if it needed to do an update (eg. roster updates on hockey, or when you buy a new game the first thing it wants to do is update). That part never worked.

There are different versions of the DI-624. Mine does not have a firmware that will work with xbox. So I can't see rolling back the firmware helping. However D-link said they could probably fix something up for me. *for a small fee* yeah right like an arm or a leg!!
 May end up having to buy a wireless router that is compatible. Anyone want the old one?
