Hi peeps of the geekery

i realise that before asking a question in the Homework Help section, i did not introduce myself....
so apologies for that...and here goes....

I'm moon_bear and i love learning bout computers, ive learnt a helluva lot the last 6 months...doing a difficult uni course at the moment....and i do like a bit of gaming over the long ass winter times and am brain dead at the mo, so sorry no witty comments....
but maybe later ^^

inetnum:        80.80.190.0 - 80.80.190.255
netname:        SCOTNET
descr:          end-user CPEs

CPE means "customer premises equipment". Usually that means private residences.

So the peeps who are stealing your IPs are INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!

Well, it's possible one of our active members can help with your question, but not very likely. The answer will be in your textbook or lecture notes. Your twat of a boyfriend should be furiously leafing through your textbook looking for clues, instead of acting like an idiot. Also, check out Wikipedia -- it won't answer your question directly, but it might give you a clue.

Aaahh it doesnt matter, i cant be bothered with it now...

i have checked wikipedia etc but that just makes it more complicated as it brings in other formulas that are not even in the course books.
i have thoroughly scanned through my book back to front and front to back....but there isnt a formula for this type of question...

and usually to answer a question like this, i need an example, so then i know how to do it, otherwise i would never have asked....
haha well hes too busy doing his own thing....he just does this for the fun, as no doubt many do....
thanks for the luck i really will need it...

and by the way i do not love couch 'forts' as one of your members so eloquently edited....

i will let you know how it goes.....if it goes.
