Hello, My Name's Trevor.

My name's Trevor, and I am from Washington state. I came here looking for like minded people because it seems that the rest of the world still sucks. I Play video games, I have been working on studying java and C, I love the whole zombie theme, and I love survival books. I am an Ubuntu user.

To reply to all of you.

1) I couldn't afford college. But I have friends in WSU.

2) I personally stuck with Gnome 2. I have issues using the unity interface because I like my desktop clutter and notification bar. Plus I never put forth the effort into changing the stupid default workspace layout.

3) Are you talking about Washington DC?  :?

Not to sound like a zealot or anything, but have you tried Mint?  It's Gnome 2, and a lot slicker and polished than Ubuntu out of the box.  I find that it takes a lot less tweaking and fidgeting to make it friendly after a fresh install than Ubuntu does.

I haven't yet, But I think my next redo of my harddrive will have a windows partition :-P, an ubuntu partition :lol:, and a mint or fedora partition ( basic debian throws fits with my eMachines E525 Laptop.
