Hello everyone,

My name is Taylor, but myself calls me Tato. I'm from Orange County, CA and I'm hoping to meet some like minded people so we can share in some good/geeky conversation. Haha that's a great question! Hmm I guess I'd have to say Bahn Mi Che Cali. I know alot of people hate that place but I really dig it. Their meatballs taste like awesome.

Try the meatball at Boulangerie Pierre on Brookhurst. Also try the meatball at Banh Mi Cho Cu, on Magnolia and Hazard (tiny little place). I can't decide which one I like better. My wife likes Pierre's.

Have you ever been to Au Cour de Paris on Edinger and Bushard? Sweet little place with great pastries and also good banh mi. I really like their iced coffee.

Yeah! Boulangerie Pierre is right by my house. I've been there twice but both times I just bought a few baguettes. Everything they have there looks so good though. I'll make sure to try their Banh Mi

I haven't had anything from Banh Mi Cho Cu or Au Cour de Paris but I'll try both for sure.

So, Where do you go for Pho? (I think this follow up question is an obvious choice haha)

I was going to ask you! I've had pho only a handful of times in the last decade. We don't get out to GG very often, but when we do we hit a few banh mi spots, get a bunch of them, try a few bites of each and have the rest for lunches. Can't do that with pho. But if you recommend a place, I'll try it the first chance I get.

In fact I'm Ivans long lost defective clone. The subtle screw ups in the cloning process explains my passion for Smurf/Highlander crossovers rather than any boner-filled A-Team stories. Speaking of the A-Team, that show was/is extraordinarily homoerotic in general. I mean, all those big strong men in that oh-so-private van. Makes all kinds of sense

Holy crap, I haven't had good pho since I was stationed in Newport News, VA. There was a strip of Vietnamese restaurants down by the shipyard entrance downtown where my ship was moored. We called it the Ho Chi Minh trail. I used to eat there at least twice a day, every day, for six months or so (when we moved across the bay to Norfolk naval base).

You seem to have some real emotional issues tied into noodle soup my friend. Maybe it's time to put down the chop sticks?

Only kidding! Yeah, I know the feeling man. I spent some time in Thailand and the first thing I did when I landed was head to In and Out. I tried "American" food over there but it just didn't cut it
