hi,

My name is Max Retallack and i count myself as a serious geek and i am proud of it.  I have an interesting life and many stories to tell.  I am interested in learning about geeky computer games and cheats that can be obtained on computer games. If anyone can help or would like to chat to me please email maxretallack@hotmail.com as that is the easiest way to contact me.  I will try and check replies but email is easiest for me. sorry to be a pain.

Hello Max. Since this is a discussion board, it's actually easier for us to post information here. After all, that's the whole point of having a discussion board. Unlike e-mail, boards allow others can see and benefit from the information. If someone decides to help you out, I'm pretty sure they will post it here.

thanks for the reply.  I understand what you mean just thought it would be easier.   i also felt you were a bit pushy but i dont want to get in a an argument so soon.  Anyway, geeky games are things like 'turnip growing' or 'ear bashing' or any others you may know of.  Do u know and understand the term 'to be rectified' as i found it on a game called Delta Force 2 and i am unwilling to accept this as a reason why i was defeated.  Defeat is for the weak.  Do u get defeated.  I bet you do.

Haha! You think I was pushy? Wow... As a moderator on this site, I felt it was appropriate to inform you that it was unlikely that anyone would e-mail you. It may be more convenient to you, but it's not for us.

Anyway... No I am not familiar with the term "to be rectified" unfortunatly. I play a few games myself. Like Day of Defeat, Call of Duty, Diablo 2 and a few others. I like games where I can play on-line with other people. And yes there are plenty of cheats out there for almost any games and I garantee you that they are being used. Look at counter-Strike for example. I shad to stop playing that game over a year ago because it was totally out of hand. You couldn't be on a server for more than 5 minutes without having a cheater or a retard show up.

Now you ask about cheats. Why? Are you looking to use them? I am strongly against cheating. I go back to my CS example. I paid good money to be able to enjoy that game yet I wasn't able to enjoy it because others would ruin the experience thanks to their aimbots and other cheats. So you won't get cheat related info from me.

As far as geek games, I don't really know any for the PC, althoug I'm sure there's a few good one. I recall a game called "free enterprise" that I wanted to buy once but never did. It was a business simulator but it was more designed like "The Sims". I also recall playing harvestmoon and harvestmoon 64 on SNES and N64 and those were awsome!

THAT was pushy??

What is a geeky computer game? I thought that gaming itself was part of what made us geeky. Though, Nethack is probably a good example of a really geeky game.

Max, taunting the regulars will shorten your life expectancy here. Just a warning.

Max, you should probably nix the attitude PDQ.  I get the distinct impression that Judgie is measuring you for a coffin right about now.  :)

I don't really have to. I think he's one of those "Answer my questions so I can move on" types. But if he wants to stick around, he's certainly welcome to. But he'll have to cut donw on the anal retention.

you guys have some serious attitude problems i say one little thing and you all jump on this silly bandwaggon.  Regulars, smegulars thats what i say.  I was only asking a question and i appreciate the advice and i was actually joking about the pushy bit but when you lack a sense of humour i suppose you would take that seriously.

My name is Max Retallack and i love myself and i will not be defeated, i challenge anyone to defy that.  You can email me, reply to my messages or even shout at me but life for me is all about that.

Hey you! I'll push who ever I want. I fact, if you stand right next to this mattress that's conveniently up against that wall behind you, I could push you all day long. You'd bounce back in my arms and I'd push you back against the mattress.

*Mental Picture* Boing boing boing boing!

Hahaha!

Max, you seriously need to chill out dude. You walk into a place where a bunch of people interact with each other every day and you expect to ignore the philosophy of this community? Maybe you're not familiar with forums and how they work. I don't know. But there's a term you should research a little: Netiquette.

I suggest you read around and figure out what this site is really about before you post again. If you did that, you wouldn't take any of the things posted personally because you would get it.

Like I said, you are welcome to stay, but cut down on the anal retention. I won't repeat myself again.
