I'm afraid that the first reply in this thread may have set an uncalled-for tone with which others have replied.

The Piccard picture was, despite the content of the first post, an uncalled-for flame that doesn't belong in the new geeks forum.

i definitely could have been a little nicer, and i didn't intend to offend anyone. i didn't really have a problem with our new friend until she deliberately posted that.. thing (smiley?) because Dark Shade mentioned his distaste for it. i found that incredibly disrespectful. was she joking? probably. but i just didn't think it was appropriate for someone who hasn't been here long enough to get a feel for the forum or its members.

I probably did act a little more boldly than I should of. I should have waited until people were more comfortable with me.
but that's me, I do everything wrong. so it's okay, flame me as much as you want. just do it if it makes you feel better or more clever or higher than me because I don't really care anymore. It's probably really stupid to emotionally vent on a forum.... especially when people don't even like me in the first place....but I find I don't really care about that sort of thing anymore (not in disrespect to you guys or anyone else.)

like I said I shouldn't have come off so strongly at first- I should've let all of you get used to me first...
I just wanted to change the subject of of all my wrong doings and how everyone has been immediately been annoyed by me by talking about ice cream and the weather...but that probably made me come off as even more idiotic. great...and now the ground is covered with snow outside. but I'm a random person so I type random things because I'm akward.
I don't know many statistics, but when I first learned it I found really interesting. I realllly didn't mean to sound like a know-it-all, I just sort of wanted to share it. I mean I'm not usually so talkative either- honestly...

okay, so to all of you I'm sorry for coming off as stupid, annoying, disrespectful, or any other negative thing.... I mean I really should have waited to type so freely...I'm not usually like that.
