HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY!

I hope this day finds everyone happy, healthy, and able to spend the day with friends and or loved ones.

Oh and might as well sing:  Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.  LOL

Time to open up a Bud Light and wait for everyone else to show up here.

Can someone explain why thanksgiving is not at the same time in Canada and US? We celebrate the same thing right? Also, can someone tell me what it is that we celebrate exactlly? I'm just there for the food...

I think we're celebrating the fact that we became a captialist, every-man-for-himself society.  When we first settled here, the government took most of the crops that were grown and passed them out to the people.  There was no incentive to grow and people were stealing crops from each other.  Everyone was going hungry.  Then they decided to change things so that people provided for themselves and could trade with each other.  That's when people started to prosper.  God bless us, every one.

Yes it was.  Thank you.  I had a good birthday.  We went to see the Derek Trucks Band.  Anyone ever see them?  They were pretty good, but I prefer less "jamming" and more "singing".  But if you're into that bluesy rock jamming, I highly recommend going to see them.
