Post by: Wunderkind on August 28, 2011, 09:18:01 AM: I lost power for all of 20 minutes yesterday morning. However, I'm so far inland that it either has to make landfall south of Charleston or hit the OBX at a sharper angle. We got some wind and some beautiful partly cloudy weather. That is all.

yup, being on a peninsula probably doesn't help. Of course since I can see the coal plant from the end of my street across the water I want to get a long extension cord and a row boat.
