« on: December 17, 2008, 09:33:28 PM »
Good day to you. I am a Technical Support Specialist, and Beta Tester for Microsoft and MMO Companies. I have been using computers since IBM had an "OS" watched Anime since I was 6 and TBS showed the first Vampire Hunter D movie, played ever console since the NES (Yes even failures such as the Jaguar), have read comics since the Golden age of Marvel (Wait there is no golden age anymore, it was Ret-conned), have built all computers I have owned, have Rped. . . a lot of Table top systems custom-made a few and learned the rules for most systems to each newbs, enjoyed many movies from the early 40's on (And will destroy the defilers of The Day the Earth Stood Still), a large advocate of Games Workshop in my area (In the name of the Machine-God!), and unfortunatly I have drawn fanart for money :(.

Entertainment / Core Geek Movies
« on: December 17, 2008, 07:56:42 PM »
Some friends and I have discovered, much to our amazement, that some members of our group are not geeks. They hold the knowledge of games, hardware and science, but lack the all important geek culture. So we came up with the idea to indocturnate them into geekdom with the "Geek" movis that are quoted and referenced all so much, or are just pure utter geek. So far we have twenty-five movies on the list (We excluded the obvious ones most have seen such as Star Trek and Star Wars.) focusing mostly on the late eighties to the early nineties, with some current movies on the list for fresh air. However there is some. . .thing missing and cannot think of what it is, so we thought to post here for suggestions and recomendations, with much thanks for you assistance in educating these hopeful people.
Here is the list currently:
