Just a few of the arguments between them, you decide:

Kerry:

Against the War
Wants to work on Healthcare, Environment, blah blah blah

Bush:

Obviously for the war
Wants to focus on War on Terror

and both are yelling and screaming at each other bout flip-flopping and bombing and such.

There's a lot more issues than war that should be considered when you vote for somone.

For the love of all that is good in this world, tell me that this individual is:
1) Too busy to remember to register to vote
2) Too young to vote
C) Not very observant
4) Canadian

By the way, Kerry hasn't been the Anti-War candidate since Howard Dean self destructed.

That's a nice, neutral, unbiased view of things.

Seriously, my take on the way the election is going is this:
Bush is campaigning on staying the course, coupled with more tax cuts to spur econimic growth (whether tax cuts spur growth is another question.)

Kerry is campaigning on the fact that he's not George Bush (seriously, he tends mostly toward keeping Bush's general plans, but "doing it better.")  I'm sure this remark will get the bejeezus flamed out of me, but the strongest pro-Kerry statement I've seen is that he's not GWB.

How am I going to vote?  I'm really not sure yet.  I didn't vote for Bush in 2000 (which is saying something, since I tend to have strong Republican leanings and previously voted for GHWB and Bob Dole - but in all fairness, Dole actually won my vote as opposed to winning it by default.)

As I've grown older, I've become less conservative.  It still comes back now and again (causing more than a few interesting paradoxes) but basically, I have the following dillemma:

GWB has done everything in his power not to get my vote.
John Kerry has done exactly nothing to win my vote.  Anti-Bush activists like asking whether things could possibly get any worse.  And I'm beginning to think that under Kerry, they might.  But that's me.
Ralph Nader isn't on the ballot in my state, but I'm seriously considering writing him in.
A number of Kerry activists at work have pissed me off to the point that I'm considering voting for Bush for the sole purpose of getting revenge on them.  Yes, they make me THAT angry, and not all of it has to do with presidential politics.
My vote really doesn't matter much, since my state is solidly in Bush's camp.  They haven't backed a Democrat president since 1964.

I'm really at a loss as to what to do.  Do you go with the devil you know or the devil you don't?  Because I truly believe Kerry will not be an improvement.  As right-wing as the Bush camp is, Kerry is that left-wing.  The signs are all there: the Democrats effectively sidelined the moderate wing of the party, as have the Republicans.  And either extreme is bad.

Everyone vote for Noone

I mean it, write "Noone" or "Nobody" on your ballots, hopefully, then, the gov't would get the idea.

I'm having a really hard time making up my mind.

I sit here, in a swing state, knowing that my vote may just matter.  I really don't know what to do, however.

What I do know is that I am not voting for Bush.  I really think our country needs to send a message to the rest of the world that we don't support the unilateral lunacy that Bush has been spearheading.  The only way to do that, is to vote him out.  Some people argue that we don't need the rest of the world.  I disagree with that.

Bush is also raping our environment.  That bothers me deeply.

At the same time, to quote reimero, "John Kerry has done exactly nothing to win my vote."  I can't get over the feeling that voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.  I honestly don't know if Kerry plans to make things better or not.

I usually vote third party.  I voted for Nader last year.  This year, I don't really trust doing that for two reasons... one, it will help hand the election to Bush, and two, Nader is becoming more of a lunatic every year.

I really wish I could find a good, non-partisan, readable site that would give me factual information on candidates that will make me a more knowledgable voter.  I haven't found much that I can put faith in, however.

It's gonna be a tough decision.

If I COULD vote, which will be in the next ellection, I'd rather vote for former gov of NY, Rudy, or Mcain. They are both better than the current line-up. And I know that Bush is raping the environment, but I think Kerry would be worse for us.

Personally, I feel that people that cannot spell the word "election" correctly should never be allowed to vote in one.
