Hi all! I’m another out of work tech (aoowt). Recently left HP and have been looking in the wasteland of N.Cal for a decent tech job. Looking forward to meeting you and catching out this forum.

Yes, did leave because of the merger, although not directly. You see I was part of the poor bastard group that relo'd from Ca to Tx. If you've never been to Texas...well I’ll be nice...it's different. Compaq/HP is fucked right now, until they fire the head bitch don't expect much from them, for a while.
