Yes, indeed the domain name expired. Apparently for some reason the domain did not auto-renew like it was supposed to, and it took me about a day to get in contact with the right people over at my host to get everything settled.

No data was lost, just the domain name itself expired, therefore geekforum.org did not forward to the correct IP address of this server.

It was funny, when I was searching through google it pointed me to gotthegeek.com or something, where it appeared you guys were posting. And it was about a post that someone hacked the website...took me a while to look at the date and realize that it was years ago.
