I suspect that the kid punched the guy not because he was the cable guy and the cause for the boy's unhappiness.  Rather, I suspect that it was because the cable guy was not a fan of homoerotic A-Team fan fiction.

it may be staged, but the whole "well hello there young man, how are you?" followed by a swift chop to the nuts is always a winner in my book.  Plus I hate Comcast right now for jerking me around.

Not a huge fan of Comcast myself, but they're the only provider in my area, so I have to just deal.

So is that actually your cable modem on top of your box, or are you making fun of Lusers who refer to their case and everything in it as "the modem" (alternately, "the CPU")?  The monitor is "the PC" of course.

The cable modem used to actually be on top of the computer.  (That's what I call it...the computer.)  Now the modem is in the closet.  It's very happy.

Hi ivan!  :)  No the cable's not unplugged.  I'm not actually having a problem.  The comments just made me think of it so I wanted to reminisce.
