Epic threads in Geekery History
« on: February 10, 2010, 03:01:42 PM »

Maybe we had a topic like this before, but I'm too busy to look for it, so here is another one.

Here is the thread where the Geekery "hate starwars" meme started:

http://www.geekforum.org/index.php/topic,2376.0.html

The final rejoinder, which completes the meme, was needles' vader smilie, which is no longer available, so all you see is ":vader:".

And while I was looking for that thread, I found this one:

EPIC TRAINWRECK

Ok, post 'em if you've got 'em.

The Federated Commonwealth

The first thread in the Politcal Forums I ever got into. Still makes me laugh until I cry, especially the part with the Battle Mechs.

While I don't think it truly qualifies as "epic", I've always been fond of this little 3-page troll: this is my kitty I love my kitty

I don't think he can.

needles wasn't so much a person as a state of mind.

A state of mind of a talented and beautiful person who has moved on to bigger and better states of mind.

There was a sticky for the longest time entitled "Not a Tech Support Forum", but now I can't find it, which upsets me because happened after the original post always made me laugh.
