My chainmaille project
« on: June 14, 2011, 06:25:48 PM »

I finally got around to buying a 1/4 mile of galvanized steel 14 gauge wire and a mandrel to make chainmaille. Three days later (Really about 3 hours later) I came out with this.

Hey cool!

So.... in about a year and a half you might have some armor then?

Chain mail craft seems to be very tedious.

Hopefully, although they do go for quite a bit of money online. Or I could set up a booth at a renaissance fair. My project will continue for the time being. I will keep you posted.

Look, there's the Rat Catcher: "Excuse me, sir, is that your head or did your neck throw up?"
"Oh, bite me Frodo!"

And there's the ever popular Leather Mug Maker: "Please, sir, sample my wares!"
"Sample my fist, you community theater reject!"

Lovable Harlequin: "I am Harlequin."
"I am your worst nightmare! Twenty three dollars to get in! Huzzah my butt, you satin-suited, Tolkien-reading loser!"
