Please post here if you notice anything weird going on with the forums.

I attempted to do an upgrade and all hell broke loose.

After it came back up, the only thing I noticed was the big unlicensed banner across the bottom. It's (of course) gone now, an I haven't seen anything else.

I'm working on installing the update again. I have gotten further so far this time.

So far, from what I can tell, the following still need to be corrected:

The search feature (Doesn't work at all)
Permissions on the admin back-end. (Several fields are missing)

As usual, if anyone sees anything else weird, please post your observations here.

Disabling spell check should solve the search problem.

Most of the members on this forum have jobs that allow us to post from work. The forum is most active during normal business hours.

Yeh, I dunno what's going on. Either bots probing for the postcount and/or posting with ad - urls in their sig hoping someone will 'investigate".

That's the plan as I'm exhausted but can't fall asleep and feel kinda bitchy about it. I came here hoping for something interesting to read, but stumbled into stupidity instead, which is kinda helping.
