You used to post some hilarious ones you did yourself (Text, anyway...). I wish I could think on my feet like that.

My favourite, to this day, is still, "Can you hear me now? (http://www.geekforum.org/index.php/topic,2252.0.html)"

Not really. I can get some of the buzz out, but to take enough of it out to make any real difference leaves a huge chunk missing from the frequecy spectrum; rendering voice rather unintelligible. The bandwidth on that buzz is so wide, a simple notch filter at 50Hz or 60Hz just doesn't take enough out to keep it (the buzz) from being noticeable. Like I said, I can take it out, (widening the filter); but then that leaves enough of the speech unintelligble to make it tough to follow what's going on.
Of course there is a medium; where you can follow the speech; but then there's still enough buzz to be noticeable and at times distracting.
Don't give up on me, though! I'm currently working all the bugs, etc out of my studio; and I have new recording/editing software to install and play with; so I may be able to come up with something yet.

BTW, I also tried fux0r1ng with it dynamically as well. The difference in the voices' loudness needed to be reduced so I could try to bring them up above the buzz; but, um...heh.

Both were absolutely priceless ... I love it when someone can get telemarketers to practically wet their pants with fear.

Damn that sucks, I may upload some far better quality recordings I found a while ago from wayy back in the day. Ironically, they were recorded off a payphone years ago and that one was recent from a home phone.

We have to figure out some way to pull this on some spammers too.

The Ebola Monkey Man beat us to it.

I have a log of some emails that were exchanged between me and a 401 scammer who accused me of trying to wipe my ass with his face, I must get around to compiling those.

Sticky or not, it's not very intelligent to contribute absolutely nothing to an old ANY thread.
