Title: What's the scoop on Harry Browne?
Post by: KoRNexpressor on January 24, 2003, 10:16:15 AM
What I basically know is this: Harry Browne ran in 200, got 300,000 votes, is a libertarian canidate, and is old.

Do any of you know about / have any opinions on him?

Thanks :D  :shock:  :x  :evil:

It's not like your vote matters anyways.  The Electoral College will just put in whoever they want.

Why it's Paul Bellini, of course.  If you ever watched the whacky Canadian sketch comedy show Kids in the Hall, you'd know him well.  Whether you hug him, pinch him, or just stand a few feet back and poke at him with a stick...you'll be spending quality time with an interesting physical specimen.

Here is the transcript from a sketch involving Paul Bellini (http://www.kithfan.org/work/transcripts/two/phoneshow.html)

Did not the last episode show the winner of the "Touch Paul Bellini" contest or somethin?

*knock knock*
::opens door::
::Canadian woman stares at Bellini for awhile::
::pokes him with wooden spoon::
::both beam huge smiles at the camera::

Yes, Kids in the Hall was fun, specially since without fail, at least one sketch would leave me completely confused.

For some reason when my family was vacationing in Montreal, there were entire episodes I had never seen before that made absolutely no sense, even more than usual.
