i found this at kissmyass.com...it was titled "how to piss of a computer techintion"
Introduction: Have you ever had to call one of those computer help lines? Many times if you don’t happen to know what they are talking about or ask, “how do I do that?” they will treat you like a complete moron. If this ever happens to you, instead of hanging up try a few of the tips below to really get back at the tech. Instructions: Tell the tech that your cup holder is broken (which is actually your CD-ROM drive). Explain that you want a new one because the one you have broke off when you placed a cup on it. You could also try calling the tech and tell him that your computer is asking you to “Press Any Key.” In a very innocent tone explain to the tech that you think you have a defective keyboard because you cannot find the “Any” key on the keyboard. Tell the tech that your computer has a bad attitude. After the tech asks why, tell him that your computer told you that something you did was “Bad and invalid.” Then tell the tech that you will not tolerate that kind of behavior from a computer and how to discipline the computer. Try calling a tech and asking where you can buy a lower case keyboard. When the tech asks what you are talking about, tell him that your keyboard only has capital letters and you are going to need to type lower case letters. Call up your ISP and ask, “Hi, is this the Internet?” Make all your checks to your ISP out to “The Internet.” When switching to a new ISP just before your conversation with the tech is done, ask, “So that will hook me up the Internet? And is that the latest version of the Internet?” When a tech asks if you are running a program under windows say, “uh…no I set my computer up next to my door, I didn’t want to block the view out of the room.” Tell the tech that you don’t have the Internet yet and wanted to know if it’s possible to copy the Internet on a diskette. If a tech ever asks you to fax something, put a note at the bottom asking the tech to send it back because you are going to need to keep it. 18
