I'm looking for something and maybe somebody here can help. I've been going nuts trying to find this but I just can't manage.
If anybody has any insight i'd be most grateful.

A long time ago, in the very early 90s I found a book in the school library. I don't remember anything about it's name. I remember that it seemed to tell the adventures of a barbarian with long blond hair. The book was in color and fully illustrated, but NOT a comic book.
It reminds me a bit of the "Dungeons And Dragons manuals (3.5)".
The version of this book, I found, was paper back. It was a quite tall book and I remember it was glossy all over (cover and pages). I'd say that it was about 2 cm thick.
Each page seemed to be framed with celtic patterns.
I say erotic because I remember one particularly large illustration where the barbarian is making love to a beautiful and very naked lady.
Any information is apriciated.

It could be Conan... But I don't think so. Conan is usually dark haired, and this barbarian was blond. Any way, all I seem to find of Conan are comic books.
This was very particular. The book was chocked full of color illustrations and had normal type writing (framed with celtic motifs). NO BALONS, so it's definitely not a comic.
It looked like it mimicked old medieval hand written books. With the very large and elaborate (illustrated) first letter of each chapter.
