Well, it's possible one of our active members can help with your question, but not very likely. The answer will be in your textbook or lecture notes. Your twat of a boyfriend should be furiously leafing through your textbook looking for clues, instead of acting like an idiot. Also, check out Wikipedia -- it won't answer your question directly, but it might give you a clue.

Don't panic, good luck, and come back when it's all over and let us know how it went.

By the way, I AM going to ban redrabbit's IP address.

Which will ban you, as well.

You might want to talk fast.

Well, here's the thing. Your IP addy was assigned to your machine by your ISP, Scotnet:

inetnum:        80.80.190.0 - 80.80.190.255
netname:        SCOTNET
descr:          end-user CPEs

CPE means "customer premises equipment". Usually that means private residences.

So the peeps who are stealing your IPs are INSIDE YOUR HOUSE!

HTH

133
Of course.

No problem.

So who's this redrabbit fellow? Friend of yours?

135
You mad, brah?

moon_bear and redrabbit are posting from the same IP addy.

I'm not sure what the game is yet.

I banned redrabbit from the shoutbox, but not from the forums yet.

Let's watch and see!

136
umm, after the first two replies....i aint too sure....and i didnt realise that i should have put it in the introduction section.
i just went straight for the thing it was most relevant to, which was homework help...is it a crime to ask for a bit of help ??

No, not a crime. All we ask is that you introduce yourself.

It's like we're having this big party, and a friend of yours suggests that you go, and you walk in and head straight for the punch bowl, and we're all like "who is that"?

See?

Also, it's specified rather clearly in the Terms Of Service you accepted:

Quote
In and effort to curb spam and maintain a community of quality members, all new applicants are subject to approval by a moderator or an administrator. This process should take no longer than 6 hours as we have moderators in many different time zones.

In addition, we request that all members post an intro post in the newbie forum, and use common sense while posting - Lurk around and do some reading before posting. Chances are if you have a question related to technology, it's already been answered in one of our forums.

Remember before hitting the "submit" button always think to yourself "is the rest of the community going to benefit from my post as a result?" If the answer is "no", then DO NOT HIT SUBMIT!

Do you agree?

I Agree

137
Say, moon_bear -- you should introduce yourself in the New Kids section, and stick around for a while. You might like it even if none of us can help you with gaseous expansion (at least not the kind you need help with).

138
I like the Avocado hypothesis with just a little salt and pepper.

Ok, a lot of salt and pepper.

139
I wholeheartedly approve of this.

Well, actually I'm Russian/Ukrainian/German/Irish/Swedish, in no particular order, but it's true I'm not white. I'm sort of beige.

Alright, I give.

I do not see what you see in this story.

It disturbs me. It makes my skin crawl. I found nothing romantic or sexy about it. I found things that made me feel sick beyond just the abused commas and semi-colons and the occasional inconsistency in the canon. Edward is a creep. Jacob is a moron. Bella Isabitch. I don't get it.

I'm sorry.

Can we toss it up to personal preference and agree to disagree?

Correct me if I'm wrong but, it sort of; kind, of; sounds, like, you read. It.

Thursday was charcoal grilled lamb chops, Caprese salad with burrata, and a nice rustic ciabatta. Winewine. Brownies and brandy for dessert.

Friday we took in some ribs from a surprisingly decent BBQ chain. Martinis were shaken.

Tonight -- slow-cooked BBQ chicken, cole slaw, mac & cheese, and I'll churn up some ice cream to make sandwiches using leftover brownies.

I suggest you go and sodomise yourself with a double ended dildo.

Dang! I misread that as "I suggest you go and ban my sorry little ass".

Sorry.

No one reads them anyway *facepalm*

You will have another chance to read it, when you register under your new name.

IF you register under a new name.

Well, I think Sheldon would have taken to heart the TOS of this site and posted an introductory thread in the New Kids section, so in that regard you are not apparently like Sheldon.

Entertainment / Re: Fave Book??

For someone who likes to read, you weren't very good about reading this site's TOS, like the part where it says you should introduce yourself by starting a thread in the New Kids section.
