To go on what dcrog said, MS pretty much said F the world and made vista difficult to implement as far as businesses go. My Cisco experience with Vista is that they changed some stuff that conflicts with new ASAs (security appliance). Which, isn't really a good idea on their part.

Of course, I still use it on my laptop, and it still jacks up all the time. *Sigh* . . . I'm going to be taking advantage of my three year warranty.

Cu: I haven't set up any vlans yet.

Me: Oh, well let's go ahead and do that. (Thinking: What the hell were you pinging?!)

Cu: Oh, OK, that worked.

Does anyone else notice that there is something a bit off with these people?

I'm always drawn into different sports and competitions when the participants and the spectators make the atmosphere electric. Today I found myself watching the dart championships. Right away when watching any sport or competition, I get a feel for the players and for some reason always pick someone I want to win. I can always relate to a big, passionate group of people who love a certain sport and I feel like I'm right there in it with them though I may not know much about the sport.

Plus, you gotta do something when they're not playing football.

That reminds me . . .

Me and my buddy say: "Quit Janglin'!"
Meaning: We are pretty much making fun of kids with gigantic black pants with a variety of chains hanging off that jangle together.

These are some I use with my friends. I'm sure there's tons more I've forgotten.

We say: "That kid pays his hoser"
we mean: Not really sure about this one, but I know it's not a good thing.

We say: "c1"
We mean: ok, or yes. C1 is the command in Counter-Strike for 'Affirmative'. Used only with CS friends.

We say: "prrna"
We mean: porn

We say: "Spinna!"
We mean: A spinner. A girl our age who is short and small enough to be, well . . . spun.

We say: "I'm super Hammer-D'd"
We mean: I'm completely wasted, please don't let me drive.

Shockey made me a Giants fan. I didn't realize he had been out due to a broken leg but I decided to stay true. To be honest, I didn't know they were even in the running until they beat the Packers, but I decided to go with it.

Plus, when they wear the red uniforms it reminds me of KU.

I was just thinkin this forum could use some Nowledge.

http://www.apple.com/macbookair/

Sure it's tiny and gorgeous, but only one USB? Maybe they should take that headphone jack out and give us another one of those expensive USB ports.

I understand the Air is probably for people who just need a cool looking paperweight (although it isn't too heavy) so they can put it on their knee and pretend to get work done. I am probably not one of the people they market this thing for. However, considering you'll be shelling out $1,700 (for the 1.6 GHZ, the 1.8 is $3,098), why not get another $200 out and get a MacBookPro? Or, better yet, save a bunch of money and get a regular MacBook.

Maybe this is for the people who need to be able to slide their notebooks under a door, or use them as a frisbee, or snap them in two.
