Airing the video on television is a bad idea, in my opinion.  This medium gives the viewer almost no input on what is shown.  Keep it restricted to the Internet, where viewers have a choice to view or not to view.  I myself have seen this video, and I would not recommend anyone see it, because it is graphic and disturbing.  Give people the choice to view it, don't air it on television and surprise people with it, but don't withold it completely, either.

Political Opinions / The Disaster Of Iraq - Enough Is Enough!

Shit, to think I supported this war when the president was making the "case."  To think I trusted him, that Saddam Hussein had the capability to cause harm to us somehow.  Now 1 year, 700+ American fatalities, and 0 weapons of mass destruction later, and I've seen the light and flip-flopped my postition faster than John Kerry.  The worst part is that an alarming amount (42% last I saw, but still, that's a fucking lot) still believe that the president was right to invade Iraq, and based on this will do their damndest to elect the asshole again.  Or is the worst part that our troops are stuck in a volatile region for at least five more years and we have to continue to pay for it in dollars and blood?

June 30th my ass.  Not with the way things have been going lately.  Americans will be dying in Iraq for quite a while.  It's far from over.

Duke downed #10 Texas 89-61.  Way to go!  Duhon was the best player on the floor, and Reddick killed them with his three-pointers and free throws.  I'm willing to bet that Duke could beat Kentucky rather handily, especially after witnessing that performance.

You guys!!!!  Stop not doing well in math!  It's so much fricking fun.

If I had a job where I could sit around and do high school math all day...that would be the life.  Especially if I could drink beer while doing it too.  Yeah, that would be the life.

It's not that I don't like math, it's just that I don't test well on it.  Math is fun and I understand the concepts, but testing gets me nervous and I just go blank.  Yeah, my dream job would involve math.  I just need to work on testing skills.

My school has midterms in January.  Usually they're pretty easy, I'll get a's or b's in everything.  Except math.  I might pull a c in math.

Me neither.  Notice in my introduction, baseball wasn't one of my likes.  I'm just being a lousy postwhore.  It's all about football and basketball (preferably college).  I like college sports much better than professional sports.

Quote from: Lacerda at ******Network a while back...
Retail. The very word sends shudders down many an otherwise stout & courageous person's spine, much like the electrical currents from a taser. However, unlike the simple joy shooting someone with a taser can bring, the retail experience is a leaden, barren wasteland of horribly wasted potential, mindless banality, and excessive stupidity.

If you've ever worked in retail, you've probably already noticed the signs: the bitterness, the sarcasm, the subtle twitch when confronted with yet another idiotic question. The never-ending drone of a customer's squealy voice throwing you awake from a sweat-sheened slumber. These things stay with you for a lifetime, a living nightmare of the filthy and undesirable side of commerce constantly screaming through your tired brain, inflaming primordial angers best left undisturbed. The belly of the beast of horror, floating above your face, 24/7. AND IT'S ON SPECIAL.

What can be done about this sickening bacchanalian orgy of twisted mass consumerism and lack of manners?

The short answer: nothing.

The long answer: KILL ALL HU-MANS! LET THEM WADE WAIST-DEEP IN THE BLOOD OF THEIR PREDECESSORS AS I SHOOT THEM IN THE HEAD WITH MY MULTI-KILL RAY! HA HA HA! FOOLISH BAUBLES OF SENTIENCE! TODAY IS YOUR JUDGEMENT DAY, AND I JUDGE YOU TO BE "SHOOT-ABLE"!

Oh, wait, that makes me sound like one of those "shooting spree from the water tower" people.

Look, to be fair, I've had like 10 hours of sleep in the past three days, I think one of my coworkers may have been sent by the government on a top secret mission to drive me insane, and customers keep wanting...wanting...to...BUY THINGS! Christ almighty, but it's horrible!

Why does the retail experience have to be so utterly mind-numbing and soul crushing? Is there any reason that you, as a customer, cannot show some kind of courtesy and common sense when dealing with that poor indentured freak trapped behind the shiny plastic counter of unhappiness? Why must you ask dumb questions and then not listen to the answers? Why must you act snarky and rude to the person who's just doing their crappy job? WHY MUST YOU PAY IN CHANGE? Sweet bacon, why do you pay only in change? Do you think I want to count out $31.45 in nickels and dimes? What the hell is wrong with you?

Do you ever stab hospital patients in the feet? You're just making things worse! Stop it!

When I am king, you will be first against the wall.

Feel free to snip this article if necessary.  I didn't want to because I like it so much.

Good, finally all the world's problems are solved.
Wait... they're not?

At least al-Qaeda has been dismantled and the Taliban has lost control of whetever the hell the first country we attacked was.
Wait... they're not?

Well at least now our boys will get to come home for the holidays.
Wait... they're not?

Business as usual then, carry on. Ignore the grizzled Santa Claus-lookin' m-f-er in American custody. Pish-tosh-and-cherio.

Nice, Bino.
