Here's what I made tonight and am sipping on as we speak. It's a variation on what I refer to as the "Old Fashioned" martini. Bourbon, triple sec, bitters, about an ounce of grapefruit juice, shaken with ice and strained into a grenadine coated martini glass. Garnished with a mandarin orange slice. Yes, that is a Deftones CD on the table next to it.

I really don't bake or cook much. Most of what I concoct are new cocktail/martini recipes.

Lookin' good, you guys! All right, I'll jump on this bandwagon. No, my avatar pic isn't actually me, though it's close.

I moved on from high school in Tennessee to college in Washington, DC, studying mechanical engineering. I miss my cat.
You did? Awesome, good for you! I'm never on FB anymore, so I'm not always up on current events. How is school going?

Me too. Or.... any kind of skill in editing movies.

I want to combine the two movies The Big Lebowski and Pulp Fiction.
Consider it for a moment.
1. Both movies take place in the Los Angeles area 2. Both movies take place in roughly the same time frame.
With very careful editing, the two films could be stitched together, and new story elements might actually come out of it.

Oh yes. I forgot about that. I too have one more guitar than I did before. A Yamaha acoustic that belonged to my wife's grandfather.

Well, let's see.
The wife and I are still living in the same house we bought in 2003.
I'm still writing and running tabletop RPG games.
Professionally things are (finally) looking up. I got a job at big managed IT services company local to here and 5 months later they made me a manager. I manage half the IT Services operation in the main corporate location, and another guy manages the other half. We also split management of the night shifts, so that can be a little cumbersome at time.
The company is a good one, about as close to a true meritocracy as I've worked at I think ever. They actually listen to me here, and I actually have enough authority to do what needs to be done, which is a refreshing change from.... well, pretty much everything else I've done. It's very validating to get accolades here for things that used to just get me blank stares at other companies.

Luci still shows up in chat once in a while, though it's been a few months. I wouldn't be shocked if he made an appearance here now that we're active again on the forum.
